Warning Birds drops Sam Carmody!
Only in the bandname, though. There were too many times I had to repeat the bandname over loud music, only to get replys like "Sams comedy in the morning births?" "Sams calling me in the haunting beds?" "I'm coming in the warning beards?"
In celebration of the brand new name, I made a brand new logo! And also a tour poster to accompany the logo:

Sam Carmody and The Warning Birds 'Ghost Town' poster
A man wanders an abandoned town, a place where no boats ever reach the shore, where there are ?no reasons for the bells to go?. He can no longer feel the sun on his skin. He wants to run but is unable, his body disconnected from the earth. He calls out repeatedly, listens for a response, but hears none. He begins to suspect that maybe, in this ghost town where he walks alone, it is he himself who is the ghost.

Metaphor and metonym
This is one of my final asignments at Curtin Uni, as I'm finnishing my Bachelor this week. My plans now where to go on to my masters, but I'm not sure at all. Maybe I'm ready for the work-market? Hm.
Anyways.I've done two sets of three: a CD-cover. poster-design and T-shirt design for the band Architecture in Helsinki. Each set uses either a metaphor or a metonym.

Portrait of a fictional character
This girl only looks human (except for the antlers), she is actually wild like an animal and is also their protector. We here see her in her attack stance.
Typografiplakat
Har blitt veldig glad i script-typografi den siste tiden, så når vi fikk i oppgave å lage en selvpromoteringsplakat, bestemte jeg meg for å lage min egen typografiplakat. Tegnet min helt egen typo, og kom fram til dette resultatet. Ble ganske fornøyd til slutt!
